Match the email workflow to your readers, then check message permissions and what earns repeat fees.

Choose the email workflow your readers need, then check the permissions and commission conditions. A useful recommendation starts with their messages, audience and required features.

This page compares MailerLite, Kit and GetResponse. Earning commission by referring customers to an email provider and sending third-party affiliate offers through that provider are separate questions. Their service-use and referral rules need separate checks.1,2,3,4,5,6

Start with the messages

The suggestions below are our editorial assessment. Merchant-described features and policy limits give you questions to investigate, rather than tested performance results.

Start with the messages
Reader’s taskOption to investigateMessage-permission check
Publish an original newsletter with forms and welcome messagesMailerLite describes form, group and link-click automation triggers.7,8Clearly identified third-party links must fit the brand and subscribers’ expectations. Its definition of prohibited affiliate marketing covers multiple referral links promoted purely for commission income, including unrelated offers.1
Build a creator newsletter around original content or their own productsKit offers tagging, digital-product/subscription sales and paid-plan sequences/Visual Automations.11,12Affiliate-only content is excluded; educational-affiliate offers/links have additional restrictions. Help-page content proportions do not override prohibited topics or guarantee acceptance.14,3
Plan follow-up automation and audience segmentationGetResponse’s Starter has one custom workflow; Marketer adds unlimited workflows and advanced segmentation.16Its affiliate-marketer positioning does not approve every campaign. The reviewed US/Canada service terms restrict content; US anti-spam rules require express, verifiable consent and prohibit bought/rented/harvested lists.17,5,19

Our advice: compare the minimum workflow that solves the reader’s task. A course builder, larger automation bundle or AI writing feature may add little to a simple newsletter. We have not established which service delivers better results or retains its value against AI alternatives.

Recurring has different clocks

  • MailerLite: ongoing subscription fees require the customer to remain active and compliant. A free signup alone is insufficient; post-exit renewal rights remain unconfirmed.2,9
  • Kit: later 10–20% fees require retained status, based on 10/50/100 qualifying paid-account referrals acquired without paid methods in the prior calendar year. Changes generally take effect around the following January 1; each customer must also pass 12 months and remain paying.4,13
  • GetResponse: each customer’s maximum is 12 months. Higher rates apply to further new sales after entitlement from calendar-year results, with January reassessment. Earlier sales keep their previous rate under the upgrade rule. The page’s “in 12 months” threshold wording differs from the agreement.6,18

Separate customer retention, your continuing eligibility and actual cash received. Use the recurring versus one-time guide to compare those stages without an assumed earnings forecast.

MailerLiteGoverning terms require a new customer to select a paid plan within the 45-day last-click window. The FAQ’s later-upgrade wording differs.2,9Terms require more than US$100 and two qualifying paying customers active at the request. A 30-day hold and processing within 45 days after eligibility differ from FAQ minimum/Friday shorthand; reviews and reversals can delay payment.2,9
Kit90-day last-affiliate-link purchase window, subject to merchant discretion; full recovery/account-history rules remain incomplete.4FAQ: typically the 13th. Agreement: typically 30–75 days processing, with 7th approval/8th withdrawal and separate annual-purchase wording. These are not one guaranteed cash date.4,13
GetResponseAdvertised 90 days; first/last-click priority is Unknown. Current customers, direct customers in the previous 12 months, prior referrals and group contact within three months can disqualify a purchase.18,6Agreement permits up to 60 days’ verification and extra delays; its example reaches May availability for a February payment. Advertised “around the 13th” is not universal. Refunds can create invoice debt.6,18

Exact payment methods, regional availability, fees and settlement rules need account-level confirmation. PartnerStack’s standard withdrawal guidance cannot replace an individual merchant’s review schedule or accepted offer.20,4,6,9,2

Plan one useful newsletter

Hypothetical worksheet: a gardening publisher plans original raised-bed care tips with relevant equipment recommendations. This is proposed work, without a tested campaign, earnings result or provider approval.

  1. 1. Promise

What subscribers expect, how consent is obtained and which third-party offers fit the topic.

  2. 2. Minimum workflow

A form, welcome message and regular tips—or a specific reason segmentation/automation is needed. Check the intended messages against the provider’s policy.

  3. 3. Evidence

Keep the recommendation’s product evidence separate from referral tracking, eligible paid conversions and approved cash. Record gaps before recommending a purchase.

Use the program-selection lesson to turn that worksheet into a small shortlist. Product usefulness, message permission and commission eligibility each need an answer.

Before sending traffic

Review the full profile’s promotion and participation rules. MailerLite requires participating creators’ original promotional media to be submitted at least 48 hours before publication. Kit excludes paid-method referrals from status counts. GetResponse requires each-instance written consent for paid social/search advertising and has broad non-disparagement language during participation and for 12 months afterwards.2,4,6

Current second-tier rewards remain Unknown for all three. Customer-sales performance levels are separate from rewards on recruited affiliates’ qualifying sales. Affiliate Orchard’s accepted accounts and tracking routes are unconfirmed.2,9,4,13,6,18

Choose one reader task and open its full profile: MailerLite, Kit or GetResponse. Check the linked official terms and application destination before applying, or explore the wider directory.

Sources and coverage gaps

Official evidence and dependent profile facts were reassessed October 7, 2026. Source dates remain distinct: Kit’s affiliate agreement displays October 15, 2024; GetResponse’s current version states October 1, 2026. Existing legacy offers should not be blended into new-referral terms.4,6,21

This is a scoped shortlist. Broader CRM-centric, transactional/API, agency and specialist newsletter coverage remains a research gap. Complete country eligibility, precise deductions, accepted payment/channel terms and campaign approval remain incomplete. No software, delivery, tracking or payment test was performed.
