A program to investigate for Cyprus-focused travel content. EOS Tours sells day trips, private itineraries and shore excursions. Its affiliate offer advertises a 20% minimum commission, but the public agreement leaves the accepted rate and calculation base incomplete.5,1,2,6
What the public offer establishes
| Reward or tracking question | Public information | Decision limit |
|---|---|---|
| Direct tour sales | Minimum 20% advertised.5 | Accepted rate, eligible gross/net base, deductions, products and booking qualification remain Unknown.6 |
| Invited affiliates | Extra income for affiliates you invite.5 | Reward type, sales basis, rate and duration are unpublished. Tier-two status: Unknown.6 |
| Customer attribution | Marketing describes unique links and discount codes; the agreement requires supplied tracking code.5,6 | Cookie length, code/link priority, cross-device and cross-host credit remain Unknown.6 |
Do not calculate an earnings forecast from the advertised percentage alone. Automatic repeat-booking credit and Affiliate Orchard's approved account or issued tracking link are also unconfirmed.
Match the tour to the reader's trip
These are editorial content ideas, not tested recommendations or evidence of low competition.
| Reader's decision | Offering to investigate | Useful content angle |
|---|---|---|
| Choose a day out from a Cyprus base | The catalog groups trips by departure city.2 | Compare departure, approximate duration and inclusions for the reader's actual itinerary. |
| Plan a private day | Tailor-made tours with itinerary-dependent duration.4 | Explain what needs a confirmed quote: route, pickup, group size and optional meals. |
| Use a Limassol cruise stop | Olive Farm, Lefkara & Limassol shore excursion.3 | Check the ship schedule and precise meeting instructions before selecting an excursion. |
This adds a destination-specific option beside broader marketplaces such as Viator. Use the travel industry hub to compare different traveler needs.
Hypothetical shore-excursion worksheet
Suppose you are outlining a guide for a reader visiting Limassol by cruise. Use the selected excursion's documentation to identify what your content must confirm:
| Check | Published detail | Question to resolve |
|---|---|---|
| Time available | The excursion lists 5.5 hours; the customer terms describe durations as approximate.3,7 | Does the confirmed itinerary fit this reader's arrival and all-aboard times, including meeting and return arrangements? |
| Meeting point | Departure is listed as Limassol Cruise Terminal, with exact instructions after booking.3 | Which meeting point and time will appear on the actual confirmation? |
| What's included | The page includes specified admissions and transport; lunch and drinks are excluded.3 | What additional expense and meal arrangements should the reader plan for? |
This is a planning worksheet. We have not taken the tour, measured its duration or tested return-to-ship reliability. A listed duration alone does not establish a safe boarding margin.
Keep booking credit separate from cash
Illustrative process, not a tracked booking or payout test.
- 2. Booking qualifies
Confirm whether credit depends on booking, payment or tour completion, and how cancellations, refunds and chargebacks affect it. The public affiliate agreement does not define the full validation process.6
Payment wording differs: marketing lists card, PayPal, bank transfer and local cash withdrawals. The affiliate agreement names PayPal and/or Stripe. Obtain the applicable account terms rather than promising every method or an immediate withdrawal. Customer payment in euros does not establish affiliate payout currency.5,6,7
Explain the actual booking policy
The day-trip site's navigation links to customer terms on eos-tour.com, naming the same company, SPS EOS TOURS LTD. Those terms say cancellation conditions can vary by product and booking channel; they are separate from the affiliate agreement.2,6,7
- Shore excursion: its FAQ offers a full refund 72 hours before departure and a refund less 20% within 48 hours; the 48-72-hour interval is unexplained. The ship-delay FAQ also leaves 1-2-hour delays unspecified.3
- Private custom tour: its page advertises a full refund one day before departure. It lists hotel pickup, while the general customer terms describe designated points near hotels. Confirm the exact tour's time, location and cancellation conditions.4,7
- Exclude obsolete or sample policies: the generic goods-refund page explicitly says it is a sample; the coupon FAQ's offer expired in 2022. Neither establishes current tour refunds, active discounts or affiliate attribution.8,9
Promotion has concrete limits
The marketing page's broad promotion claim is subject to the affiliate agreement:
- Use supplied link/coupon code and authorized materials; EOS may review placements. Do not imitate its site, imply you are EOS or use an EOS variation in your domain.5,6
- No spam, unsolicited commercial email or concealed identity. Existing-customer/subscriber mailings require an opt-out; unacceptable advertising can lead to termination and unpaid pending balances.6
- The paid-search clause addresses EOS/variation bidding combined with sending traffic directly to EOS without first visiting your own site. It is not blanket permission for a campaign. Hidden or forced tracking cookies and referral-cookie overwrites are prohibited.6
Either party can end the agreement by written notice; breaches can end it immediately. EOS can change terms with email notification, and fraudulent sales do not earn commissions. Ordinary post-exit commission handling remains incomplete.6
Before applying
Read the official affiliate program and application. Confirm accepted economics, country eligibility, tracking, validation, cash and promotion permissions. If invited-affiliate income matters to your decision, request its reward type and qualifying sales basis before treating it as tier two.5,6
