Two routes with different rates
The official Awin listing advertises a separate offer and explicitly links the merchant’s own managed program. Choose a route before comparing the economics.7

The in-house figures come from the agreement last updated May 10, 2023; Awin’s overview is undated. The full eligible calculation base, deductions and your accepted offer remain Unknown. Do not apply the in-house renewal, exclusion or PayPal rules to Awin automatically, or forecast commission from the entire checkout total.5,7
Customer renewals, tracking and cash
The in-house signup says accounts with no login for 90 days may be deleted without notice. Either party can terminate the agreement at any time without written notice; a closing balance under $5 is forfeited. Treatment of larger below-threshold balances, pending credit and member association after exit needs confirmation. The signup’s old check-memo wording does not establish a current cheque-payment option.10,5
Tier-two rewards: Unknown. The reviewed routes establish customer-sale commissions, not a recruited-affiliate sales override. Member association, a conditional evaluation membership and generic bounty wording are separate concepts.5,8,7
Worked example: a mixed-repertoire teaching site
Hypothetical publisher: a music teacher writing useful repertoire pages for different instrumentalists. These two real listings show why “download sheet music” is too broad a recommendation:

These are different musical tasks, not equivalent editions. We have not played, taught, downloaded or tested the scores. Choose repertoire for the learner and consider suitable music they already lawfully hold; a larger commission does not establish musical suitability.
Membership includes VSM editions and media, while other publishers’ titles are generally discounted purchases rather than free access. The older member-help article is dated August 3, 2015; the current membership page and these listings corroborate that distinction.3,4,1,2
Customer rights to explain beside the recommendation
The customer terms were revised May 2, 2026, separately from the affiliate agreement.11

Publishing limits and joining
For participating affiliates, website and data-feed links require rel="nofollow"; the agreement exempts email newsletters and social posts from that specific tag requirement. It prohibits spam, invalid coupons, competing keyword/brand PPC, framing the merchant site and copying its content/code/design without express consent. Prices shown on your site must stay current.5
The FAQ suggests locally hosting images for an old antivirus issue, while the agreement requires consent for copying content. Confirm supplied-asset permission rather than treating that suggestion as an unrestricted image licence. Use the merchant’s required trademark marks when participating.6,5
In-house joining is advertised as free, but acceptance begins the agreement. The form allows a blank website field; that does not guarantee approval for every promotion method or country. An optional one-year evaluation membership requires a suitable site with its own domain and correctly running affiliate links, and cannot be used for an existing membership renewal.8,10,5
