Who it suits
Consider SE Ranking when your audience needs ongoing SEO monitoring or client reporting. Its advertised toolkit includes rank tracking, keyword and competitor research, site audits and scheduled reports. Evaluate those tasks against the reader’s current tools and budget; we have not tested the product.1,2
| Reader’s task | Useful angle for your content | Check before recommending |
|---|---|---|
| Monitor several websites | Show how to turn ranking history into a review routine. | Project, keyword and update-frequency allowances. |
| Investigate site problems | Explain how an audit finding becomes a prioritized fix. | Crawl limits, required features and manual validation. |
| Report to clients | Compare the report the client needs with the proposed plan. | Reporting options, seats and any agency add-ons. |
These are editorial content ideas. Features and allowances vary by plan; do not assume every promoted add-on or separate product is included or commissionable.2,3
A useful recommendation should show why the monitoring or reporting workflow is worth paying for. If the reader only needs occasional checks, compare a lighter workflow before recommending a subscription.
Commission and attribution
The agreement specifies 30% of qualifying subscription orders for eligible affiliates who do not operate coupon-aggregation sites. The customer must be registered and logged in when paying. The FAQ also describes 30% on subsequent payments and rebills.3,4
Recurring does not establish an unconditional lifetime payment. Maximum duration, post-termination entitlement and the exact treatment of tax, discounts, refunds and add-ons remain unconfirmed. SE Ranking can change the rules and commission rate, or terminate participation, without further notice.3,4
Tracking conflict: both official pages describe 120 days, but the agreement says last-click while the marketing page says first-cookie and describes continued referral credit after signup. Confirm the applicable priority and account-binding rules; we do not resolve this contradiction by choosing one.3,5
Hypothetical example: assume each order below has an eligible commission base of $100. This is not a plan price or earnings forecast. The real rate and qualifying-rebill premise come from the agreement and FAQ.3,4
| Qualifying payment | Calculation | Accrued commission |
|---|---|---|
| Initial eligible order | $100 × 30% | $30 |
| Separate eligible rebill | $100 × 30% | Another $30 |
That would total $60 accrued. It does not establish a cash arrival date. Tier-two rewards remain Unknown: no referred-affiliate commission was established in the reviewed program page, agreement or FAQ.3,5,4
When earnings become payable
| Payment condition | What the official sources say |
|---|---|
| Threshold | Agreement: at least $50. FAQ: more than $50. Exact-$50 handling needs confirmation.3,4 |
| Cadence | Agreement: every 14 days, with processing taking up to 5 calendar days. This is not a guaranteed bank-receipt date.3 |
| Method | FAQ lists PayPal, Payoneer or SE Ranking balance; the program page promotes PayPal. Account credit is different from cash.4,5 |
| Required forms | Correct W-9 for U.S. persons or W-8BEN/W-8BEN-E for non-U.S. persons, including required updates.3 |
Missing forms can cost you earned commissions. The agreement permits discretionary forfeiture after 12 months: counted from the first earned commission for affiliates joining after its latest update, or from the agreement’s update date for earlier participants.3
After supplying correct forms, recovery can be requested within 12 months of forfeiture, only once during participation, and remains discretionary. Do not treat forfeited earnings as automatically recoverable.3
SE Ranking specifies the commission currency; affiliates bear applicable taxes, fees and exchange costs. Country-specific methods, actual settlement currency and charges remain unconfirmed.3,4
Build a useful recommendation
Hypothetical content plan: a small agency is deciding whether to pay for SEO monitoring. This is a suggested evaluation process, not a product test or client result.
- Define the workload
List sites, tracked keywords, reporting needs and the work the agency already does.
- Show one real task
If you test the product, use a permitted, privacy-safe example. Explain an observation and the next action; distinguish your test from advertised features.
- Check the limits
Match current allowances and add-ons to the workload. Record the total cost and any remaining manual work.
- Make the decision
Explain who benefits, who can use a lighter alternative and which limitations would change the recommendation.
Promotion and joining
The FAQ says the affiliate module is available in free and paid accounts. Participation still depends on the agreement’s qualifying standards; account access is not evidence that Affiliate Orchard has an approved relationship.4,3
- Traffic: advertising networks require prior consent; paid-search placements and SE Ranking brand-keyword advertising are prohibited. Do not assume general advertising consent overrides those restrictions.3,4
- Referrals and coupons: only new users qualify; self, relatives’ and employees’ purchases are excluded. Coupon-distribution/aggregation sites cannot join. Only SE Ranking-issued coupons are permitted; harvested coupons and stacking are restricted.3,4
- Content and conduct: use current approved assets under their limited license and remove them on exit. This is not a general license to copy product content. Trademark domains/social names, spam, fake traffic and unapproved incentives are restricted. Privacy obligations remain yours; certain prohibited conduct can trigger termination, forfeiture or recovery of payments.3
Before committing, confirm the tracking conflict, payment setup and permission for your intended promotion. The agreement says copying the issued referral link after registration brings it into effect.3
Next, read the official affiliate program page. Use the program-selection lesson and recurring versus one-time commissions guide to compare the offer with your audience’s needs.
Sources and open questions
Five official sources checked October 7, 2026. The agreement displays May 6, 2025; today’s retrieval does not establish a new agreement date.3
Still unconfirmed: actual attribution priority and overwrites, eligible deductions and product scope, maximum recurring duration, refund/validation handling, country eligibility, settlement details and tier-two rewards. No account, product, tracking or payout test was performed; no application or tax form was submitted.
