A qualifying referral must be a first-time student account with a device, account and payment method not previously associated with a student. The student must complete a trial and have no refund or chargeback within 30 days afterward. Group lessons and referrals involving yourself, employees, family or associates are excluded; the generated Impact tracking link is required.2

Preply says its Professional Tutor badge can be earned through its own teaching course or an accepted government-accredited or endorsed teaching certificate of at least 120 hours, with certificates reviewed by its team. Super Tutor reflects recent platform performance instead. The badge is a selection clue; Preply’s terms do not guarantee a tutor’s professional accreditation or licence.12,9

Learner commitments to explain
The standard tutor plan automatically renews every 28 days, with a minimum of four 50-minute lesson allocations per cycle. A 25-minute booking uses half an allocation. Separate tutors have separate subscriptions; checkout and the chosen tutor determine the actual price.4,5

A paid trial that disappoints may qualify for a replacement with a different tutor, up to two per account, before starting a subscription. The subscription terms also describe requesting a refund. This does not make every trial free or guarantee a cash refund.8,11
Pausing can move the next billing date by up to 20 days per cycle. Extra-lesson expiry needs confirmation: current help says top-ups can carry over for two full cycles, while the subscription PDF says they expire at the current cycle’s end. Do not apply either rule to all lesson balances.4,5,11

The agreement permits locking extensions up to 90 days, full holds for up to two payment cycles and reversals or offsets. Withdrawal threshold, method, funding, complete fees and actual receipt remain Unknown.
