Consider Kinsta for an audience choosing managed WordPress hosting when you can explain the operational fit. Its offer combines 10% recurring commission with a revenue-dependent one-time bonus. The headline bonus is not a guaranteed minimum: the detailed schedule includes a $0 band. 1,5,4
We have researched the program and product documentation, without testing the hosting, migration or payments.
Who it suits
Our assessment favors a concrete WordPress decision over a generic highest-paying-host list.
| Reader's question | Useful content you could provide | Limit to check |
|---|---|---|
| Should I move an existing WordPress site? | Document requirements, a migration plan and the checks you would run afterward | Continuously changing sites can need maintenance mode during migration; do not promise zero downtime. 2 |
| How much server control do I need? | Compare the work handled by the managed service with your required custom configuration | Kinsta does not provide root access. Custom Nginx rules require its support team. 2 |
| Will my setup work with staging or multisite? | Inventory the actual site configuration before recommending a plan | Multisite eligibility and staging behavior depend on the plan and network setup. 2 |
The value question is what hosting work your reader needs help with. A static site or a different application deserves its own requirements check; this WordPress offer is not a reason to buy unnecessary hosting.
Direct rewards
The recurring commission is 10% of eligible fees actually paid, after discounts. Taxes, one-time fees, overages and add-on subscriptions are excluded. The customer must be new to Kinsta, pay for the service, and meet the referral conditions; your affiliate account must remain active and requested tax documents must be supplied. Self-referrals and controlled-interest referrals are prohibited. 3,5
The linked calculation guide uses income received during the qualifying period to determine the one-time bonus. Read that schedule rather than assuming every signup earns $50 or every plan earns $500. 4
| Qualifying-period income received | One-time commission |
|---|---|
| Below $50 | $0 |
| $50–$99.99 | $50 |
| $100–$165.99 | $100 |
| $166–$999.99 | $150 |
| $1,000 or more | $500 |
All bands come from Kinsta's published method, subject to qualification and fee exclusions. Its illustrative plan names and prices are not treated as today's pricing. 4,3
For annual billing, the method allocates the qualifying-period portion to the bonus calculation and credits recurring commission on the remaining eligible portion at once. “Recurring” therefore does not guarantee an identical cash payment every calendar month. 4
Lifetime is conditional. Customer cancellation stops recurring payments. The terms also require an active affiliate account and allow termination without further payment obligations, including pending or previously earned commissions. There is no permanent income guarantee. Current rewards on qualifying sales by recruited affiliates remain Unknown; the direct bonus plus recurring percentage is not tier two. 5,3,6
Credit and payment conditions
The tracking cookie lasts 60 days. Another affiliate's click can replace it in the same browser; the cookie in the browser used at signup determines the credited affiliate. This is separate from how long a qualified customer can generate recurring fees. 3
Two exact boundaries need confirmation:
| Question | Official wording and practical limit |
|---|---|
| When does the referral qualify? | The FAQ describes two paid, active months; the calculation guide requires more than two months. Do not promise approval on the exact two-month anniversary. 5,4 |
| Is an exact $50 balance payable? | The terms say at least $50; the FAQ says more than $50. The governing terms are stronger evidence, but the conflicting FAQ remains visible; the exact account boundary is untested. 3,5 |
The FAQ describes monthly PayPal payments between the 15th and 20th for eligible approved balances. The terms also allow account credit and warn that provider fees and eligibility apply. Processing currency, full fee treatment and account-specific method availability need confirmation. 5,3
The FAQ invites investigation of a missing referral reported within 14 days of subscription. The terms disclaim tracking errors and deleted cookies, so that request window is not a guarantee of recovered credit. 5,3
Build a useful recommendation
Hypothetical content brief: help a WordPress publisher decide whether a managed-hosting migration fits their existing site. This is a proposed evidence plan, not a completed walkthrough.
- Define the requirements
Record the site's publishing workflow, plugins, custom server rules and any multisite configuration. Identify what must keep working.
- Plan the checks
Map those requirements to the current technical documentation. Plan a backup, migration and staging test; document maintenance needs for changing content. 2
- Set a stop condition
Resolve unsupported configurations before recommending a purchase. Publish performance or successful-migration claims only after doing and documenting the relevant tests.
Use the program-selection lesson to decide whether you can contribute that evidence. The recurring-versus-one-time guide helps compare bases and duration.
Promotion rules and joining
The terms permit specified own-site, professional/opted-in messaging, managed video/code-repository and site-transfer routes. They restrict direct third-party social links and prohibit PPC/paid-click traffic, brand bidding, cookie stuffing, unauthorized cloaking, coupon placements, invented discounts and incentives. Read the full channel rules before planning a campaign. Program promotional content must disclose the marketing relationship; it must not imply that you represent Kinsta. 3,5
Applicants need to meet the age, payment-provider and sanctions requirements. Approval remains discretionary. The FAQ generally rejects unfinished sites, list-only content, sites without their own domain or an affiliate disclosure, coupon sites and social profiles. A public country selector does not establish worldwide eligibility. 3,5,7

Sources and open questions
Eight official sources were checked on October 7, 2026, during hosting discovery and this profile review. The governing terms display December 12, 2024; the calculation guide displays October 1, 2025. A fresh read does not make those documents newly effective or establish an accepted owner contract.
Exact threshold and qualification boundaries, payment currency/methods, full publisher/customer eligibility and any downstream arrangement remain unresolved as described above. No application, provider contact, purchase, migration, tracking or payout test was performed. The numbered sources below support the factual statements.
