The merchant and its linked CJ invitation advertise 20% for new-customer purchases, 10% for returning-customer purchases and 30% for memberships, with a 30-day attribution period. These are public offers, not an accepted account contract or proof of product quality.2,5,6

The current merchant-linked route requires an active CJ publisher account, followed by an application to Creative Market. Its older affiliate guide describes built-in sharing buttons and an on-site sales dashboard; it displays a June 30, 2025 update but originated in 2014. Confirm current CJ-issued links and reporting rather than copying those older setup instructions.6,7
A template price may not be the whole purchase
The sampled Selena With Elementor Pro listing from Pix & Hue requires an active Elementor Pro subscription. The optional script font shown in its demo requires a separate purchase and webfont licence; the seller also offers using your own font. A separately listed version uses free Elementor, which does not make this theme purchase free. These are seller-stated prerequisites, not our installation results.1

Ask who supports the exact item. Selena's seller lists six months of customer support, but that is not a marketplace-wide support guarantee. Creative Market's troubleshooting policy directs technical questions to the Shop Owner first, with escalation if there is no response after 48 business hours. Missing required software or expertise does not count as a technical defect.1,9
Match the licence to the asset
Creative Market's General Licenses exclude fonts and WordPress content. For assets within that general scope, the overview treats business promotion or intended direct/indirect financial gain as commercial use. Personal licensing permits noncommercial use; check the appropriate Commercial or Extended Commercial terms for a business project.3,10
General licensing does not permit publicly sharing source assets, competitive resale or freely storing purchased assets on a team server. Seats and third-party rights require their own checks. Buying a template is not permission to copy its files into a public tutorial or downloadable starter kit.3,10
The marketplace separately says its WordPress content comes with GPL 2.0, and the sampled Selena listing displays that licence. Explain the narrow refund conditions
- Products and exchanges: the refund policy uses a three-day processing window for eligible duplicates, unresolved reproducible technical issues or misrepresented products. It excludes change of mind, missing software/skills and subjective dislike. The licensing overview instead mentions three business days for a recent licence exchange; confirm the applicable deadline without promising the longer period.9,3
- Credits: an approved refund for a purchase paid partly or entirely with credits is issued entirely in credits. That is not cash back.9,8
- Memberships: refunds may be allowed within three days of the initial subscription, provided download credits have not been used. No partial or prorated subscription refunds are offered. Customer subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled; that does not establish publisher renewal commissions.9,8
Refunds remain discretionary. Marketplace terms require stopping use of an asset when requesting a refund; an issued refund revokes its licence and requires deleting the relevant files. A refund window is not an unconditional satisfaction guarantee.8
