Is 12Go a fit for your travel site?
Consider 12Go for route guides that help readers choose trains, buses, ferries and other transport. It facilitates bookings with third-party suppliers; it does not operate the transport itself.1,2
The useful content task is comparing the trip, not repeating a ticket listing:
| Reader decision | Useful content to create |
|---|---|
| Train, bus or ferry? | Compare departure location, journey time and the practical tradeoffs. |
| Does the connection work? | Explain terminal changes, transfer time and alternatives if plans change. |
| Which ticket suits the traveler? | Compare the actual booking conditions, confirmation process and cancellation rules. |
SEO traffic to an affiliate website is allowed in 12Go's traffic guide. Social, YouTube and email traffic are listed with a White Label condition; the broad invitation to join without a website is not unrestricted placement permission.4,1
What the 50% means
| Advertised or documented term | Important condition |
|---|---|
| 50% of merchant profit | Programme headline says revenue share, but its FAQ says total profit. This is not 50% of the ticket price. Your confirmed account Payment Option and exact profit calculation still need checking.1,3 |
| 30-day cookie | Programme FAQ uses last-partner-click attribution. Another partner's later link takes credit; a return from a search engine alone does not.1 |
| PayPal threshold | Agreement: 300 THB or US$10, with invoicing no more than weekly. Those are stated denomination alternatives, not a current exchange-rate calculation or a weekly cash promise.3 |
| SWIFT bank threshold | 33,000 THB or US$1,000, subject to approval; invoicing no more than monthly.3 |
| Local Thai bank option | 1,000 THB, subject to approval, with weekly or fortnightly invoicing as agreed. This is separate from SWIFT.3 |
| Wise | Programme advertises 300 THB or equivalent minimum. The public agreement does not give Wise-specific terms; confirm your accepted option.1,3 |
Not every listed booking qualifies. The agreement excludes redirect inventory where booking finishes on an operator's website. Changed/cancelled tickets, chargebacks and other eligibility failures can remove payment; amounts already paid may be reclaimed or offset.3
Hypothetical arithmetic: if an approved booking has 100 THB of eligible merchant profit and your confirmed rate is 50%, the share is 50 THB before applicable payment costs. The ticket's selling price cannot establish that profit. This is not an earnings forecast.
From route content to payment
- Check credit and reversals
Operator-site redirects, cancellations and other exclusions matter. Do not assume the dashboard balance is final cash.3
- Invoice and receive payment
Meet your approved method's threshold and invoice rules. Payment costs and conversion may affect receipts; a fixed booking-to-cash timetable is not established.3
Check traffic and booking conditions
- Use permitted promotion. Brand bidding, impersonation, cashback/motivated traffic, retargeting, pop-ups and unsolicited messaging are prohibited in the traffic guide. Suspected prohibited traffic can delay payment during investigation.4
- Respect approved materials and codes. The agreement restricts altering supplied information or creatives without consent. Coupon-site permission does not make expired or unapproved codes eligible.3,4
- Explain confirmation. A payment receipt is not necessarily a confirmed booking. The customer terms say to check status before buying a duplicate; separate connections are not a protected package.2
- Read the actual refund policy. Requests must be at least 24 hours before departure, but the product may still be non-refundable or non-changeable. Supplier approval, service fees, deductions and possible credit/voucher outcomes apply.2
Our editorial suggestion: make a hypothetical route comparison before adding a booking tool. Compare where each option departs, what a transfer involves and which conditions could change the decision. Use current route details when producing a real guide; the example above is not a tested itinerary.

Second-tier rewards: Unknown. The current publisher sources reviewed do not establish a recruited-publisher override rate, base or duration. Customer referrals and the agreement's corporate “Affiliates” definition do not establish tier two.1,3
Confirm the account Payment Option, profit deductions, Wise terms, fees/currencies, permitted channels and publisher/customer-country eligibility. The agreement permits changes without prior notice and ordinary termination with 30 days' written notice; access can also be denied.3,1
Next, read the official publisher programme against your intended pages and traffic sources. Use the programme-selection lesson to record the unanswered conditions. See networks versus direct programmes before treating a network's 12Go offer as the same arrangement.
