Seven researched programs covering seeds, live plants, growing systems, irrigation components and hand tools. Wider tool and irrigation choices remain coverage gaps.
On this page
Choose the reader’s buying task before comparing commissions. Seeds, delivered trees, growing systems, irrigation parts and hand tools need different advice. These seven programs follow reader needs; their order is not an earnings ranking.
The comparison covers direct customer referrals. Keep each calculation base and condition beside its rate, then open a profile or select up to three programs to compare.

Choose the buying decision you can explain
| Reader needs | Programs to investigate | A useful question to answer |
|---|---|---|
| Seeds or a delivered plant | Botanical Interests for seeds; Simply Trees for live plants | How do seed instructions apply to this situation? For a delivered tree, what size arrives and what destination or replacement limits apply? Mature product imagery is not delivered size.2,7,8,11,12 |
| A raised bed or vertical setup | Vego Garden; Garden Tower Project | What does the complete setup require? Check bed configuration and extras, or the soil-based vertical planter’s placement, loaded weight and return freight. These are different products.13,17,18,21 |
| Indoor growing | Click & Grow | Does the documented space, lighting and watering routine suit the reader? Replacement supplies do not prove recurring commission: the agreement excludes existing customers.23,24 |
| Irrigation kits or components | Drip Depot | Does the exact kit suit the proposed run, flow and existing tubing specifications? A kit’s tubing stock is not a tested run-length capacity.27,28 |
| A hand tool for a specific task | Gardener’s Supply | What do the exact model’s dimensions, weight and instructions tell you? Could an existing tool do the job? Check delivery costs and whether the remedy is brand credit or a cash refund.38,41,42,43 |
Drip Depot needs a more specific publisher fit: its agreement requires an irrigation-focused website and active marketing; the FAQ describes a seasonal traffic minimum without a numeric target. A broad gardening site or newly launched project should confirm acceptance rather than assume it.31,30
Only one irrigation specialist and one tools merchant are included. Wider irrigation and specialist-tool choices remain gaps; this is a starting shortlist, not the entire gardening market.
Check the route from reader to payout
- Reader can use and receive it
Does the product suit the actual space and destination? Check item-specific delivery and customer remedies.
- You can promote it
Does the program accept your location, website and channel? Customer shipping and publisher eligibility are separate questions.
- The referral can qualify and pay
Which customers, products and order value count? Check attribution, validation, reversals and the earned-balance requirement.
Botanical Interests illustrates geography: its Awin description welcomes U.S.- and Canada-based garden publishers, while direct customer delivery is U.S.-only. A Canadian publisher’s eligibility does not establish direct delivery to a Canadian address.3,5
Drip Depot illustrates qualification and cash timing: the advertised offer applies to new customers’ first orders within a 30-day cookie, followed by a 30-day cooling-off period. Its agreement requires an earned balance above $100, while minimum/reach wording needs confirmation at exactly $100. The signup deposit does not count toward that requirement or establish recruitment income.29,30,31
Keep application routes separate. Gardener’s Supply’s public Impact template and older FlexOffers listing show different rates and attribution windows. The network listing was last updated January 24, 2025; it does not establish current account availability. Do not combine one route’s rate with the other’s window.35,37,39
Read the profiles for full terms. Vego has separate locking and payment stages; Click & Grow’s 30/45-day attribution conflict remains unresolved. A public rate is not a guarantee that an order will qualify or pay.15,25,24,26
Are any of these programs two tier?
Garden Tower Project’s Awin description advertises a share of commissions earned by referred affiliates. It still contains old ShareASale instructions; the current recruitment mechanism and account terms remain unconfirmed. The profile distinguishes this separate calculation base from direct sales commission.19
For the other six programs, downstream commissions are Unknown in the reviewed sources. Higher sales tiers, creator gifts, signup deposits and customer repeat purchases are different arrangements. Include a gardening program because it helps your audience, whether or not it pays second-tier rewards.3,9,15,24,29,30,31,35,37,39
Turn the shortlist into useful content
Hypothetical irrigation brief: a reader already owns raised beds and wants to choose components. Help them decide what to keep, add or investigate before buying:
- Record the actual route and existing parts. Check the longest run, total flow and exact tubing manufacturer and inside/outside diameters; nominal size alone does not establish fit.28
- Match those requirements to the exact kit’s contents and instructions. Keep manufacturer specifications separate from measurements or tests you actually performed.27
- Check delivered cost and return commitments before cutting or installing anything. Drip Depot’s policy excludes cut or unbanded tubing, partial kits and used items; full conditions belong in the linked profile.33
Hypothetical tool brief: give a reader a short “keep, borrow or investigate buying” card for one task. Separate the model’s listed dimensions and weight from observations you actually made. Add the complete delivery quote and applicable remedy: Gardener’s Supply’s lifetime-guarantee body offers brand credit, while its returns page separately describes original-payment refunds. Do not promise a lifetime cash refund.38,41,43,42
These are content ideas to investigate, not proven keyword opportunities, compatible installation plans or product-performance results. Existing equipment may be enough; a helpful page can recommend making no purchase.
Use the program checklist and plan one useful first page. If your audience is still unclear, start with the niche-selection lesson.
