The invitation's “purchase total” wording is shorthand. Use the agreement's eligible Net Sales definition rather than multiplying the entire checkout total by 6%.3,4,2
Volume bonuses need a separate check
The public invitation advertises these bonuses for your own monthly net sales. Exclusivity means zZounds is the only musical-instrument affiliate featured on your site for the entire calendar month.3,4

Those are bonus labels, not commissions of up to 80% of sales. The complete percentage base, stacking calculation and accepted route-specific schedule remain unconfirmed. Ask for a worked calculation before comparing maximum rewards. These own-sales bonuses do not establish second-tier commissions from recruited affiliates; downstream rewards remain Unknown.3,4,2,6

- Qualify
A tracked special link from your registered site leads to an online purchase within 45 days; the customer accepts delivery and remits full payment. Another affiliate or advertiser's later link can replace your credit.2
The FAQ says zZounds may try faster payment for established affiliates. Treat that as discretionary, rather than a guaranteed 30-day payout. A qualifying repeat purchase is also different from an ongoing subscription commission.5,2

A useful page could help a reader reuse equipment or choose another seller. An affiliate program is a route for an appropriate purchase, not a reason to recommend an unnecessary one.
Customer conditions to keep beside recommendations
- Location matters. Free ground shipping applies to the contiguous U.S. Alaska and Hawaii require air shipping; Canada, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO and listed territories have item or carrier restrictions. Canadian orders are charged in USD, with possible bank, customs and warranty-return costs. This is not worldwide shipping.10
- Returns have exclusions. The general window is 45 days after delivery, with authorization and condition/packaging requirements. Downloads and some opened personal-use, software or bundled products are excluded or restricted. Ordinary refunds leave return shipping, original shipping and installment application fees with the customer; wear, missing contents and some large/vendor-shipped items can trigger fees or refusal.9
- Condition affects the purchase. zZounds distinguishes new, open-box, factory-resealed and B-stock items. Non-new warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and the exact item. Those merchant descriptions are not our inspection results.8
- Installments are not cost-free or guaranteed. The customer agreement limits eligible orders to U.S. shipping and approval, with application fees and possible late fees. Payments continue until a returned order is processed. Some FAQ eligibility wording differs within the page; check the exact offered plan rather than publishing a blanket approval or eligibility promise.7
Publisher eligibility is separate: the invitation asks for original content on an active multi-page website or active YouTube channel. The FAQ permits non-U.S. entities and states USD referral fees, but does not supply a complete country whitelist. The agreement requires individual participants to be at least 18.3,5,2
Publishing and exit limits
- Prices, stock and brand references: the agreement prohibits price or inventory descriptions, with a discretionary real-time price exception. Broader material referencing zZounds needs written consent outside the stated exceptions. Participants must display the merchant's affiliation notice/logo; licensed assets and vendor content have separate restrictions. Confirm these requirements before committing to a review or comparison format.2
- Traffic and tracking: formatted links must originate from registered domains. Branded keyword bidding, deceptive SEO and cookie stuffing are prohibited; direct paid-search links, third-party comparison-engine links and incentives need written permission. Email must be opt-in, and expired offers must be removed within three days. The agreement also requires visitor-data/cookie disclosure.2
- Leaving can affect fees: termination requires removal of merchant links/materials. Violations can forfeit previously earned fees; deactivated accounts earn no fees during deactivation. Otherwise, eligible during-term sales and a possible final hold remain relevant. Terms may change by posting or email, so keep your accepted version.2
