Research the opportunity before planning around its commissions. Young Again advertises up to 6% on direct sales and 2% on sales generated by affiliates you refer. It could suit publishers already covering pet-food shopping, but current enrollment is unconfirmed.3
In our October 7 checks, the linked signup and login returned 404. The separate portal showed an affiliate-login placeholder.4,6,5,3
The catalogue includes cat, dog and ferret food, treats and supplements. This is a program-and-shopping assessment; we have not tested the products or evaluated dietary suitability, clinical benefits or the merchant's quality claims.1,2
Separate the three rewards
| Reward | What the public page advertises | Important limit |
|---|---|---|
| Your customer makes a qualifying purchase | Up to 6%; other FAQ wording uses 6%.3 | Accepted rate, bands, eligible products and gross/net deductions are unconfirmed. |
| That customer buys again | Further commissions while your affiliate account stays active.3 | No confirmed maximum duration, competing-referral rule or subscription-specific credit. This is repeat-customer credit. |
| An approved affiliate you recruited makes sales | An additional 2% on those sales, alongside the selling affiliate's 6%.3 | Sales-based second-tier advertising; accepted base, referral binding, duration, reversal rules and current availability remain unconfirmed. |
The second-tier wording describes a percentage of the referred affiliate's sales, rather than their commission. It does not establish whether taxes, shipping, discounts or particular products enter the base. Because joining and the applicable offer are unresolved, this program stays outside our documented-current tier-two collection.3,4,5
Hypothetical: one sale, two recipients
Assume an agreed eligible sale base of US$100, a 6% direct rate and a 2% recruitment rate. These assumptions explain the advertised structure; they are not an accepted offer, actual sale or earnings forecast.
| Recipient | Illustrative calculation | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Affiliate who generated the customer sale | US$100 x 6% | US$6 |
| Affiliate who recruited that selling affiliate | US$100 x 2% | US$2 |
Calculating 2% of the US$6 commission would give US$0.12, which uses a different base. The two amounts go to different recipients; do not present them as an 8% direct commission. Any real calculation needs the approved eligible-sale definition first.
From a tracked purchase to cash
- Qualify and validate the sale
Automatically tracked purchases must meet the applicable offer; the validation period and second-tier binding are unpublished.3
- Allow for reversals
Returns, refunds, payment disputes and fraud can debit commissions.3
- Receive a check
Monthly USD checks are advertised. One section requires more than US$50 and another says at least US$50; treatment at exactly US$50 is Unknown. Mailing time, fees, tax setup and second-tier inclusion in the threshold are also unconfirmed.3
A customer reorder or account balance is not evidence that a check has arrived. We have not tested attribution or payment.
Make an exact-bag content brief
The sampled Dog Food 40/16 page lists 10 lb and 25 lb options, one-time purchase and a Bottomless Bag subscription option. It also describes a name change during 2026. We have not established package/formula equivalence, autodelivery cancellation terms or commission eligibility for those formats.2
Hypothetical reader task: compare the purchase logistics of an exact product already being investigated. Keep diet and health recommendations outside this worksheet.
| Decision | Evidence to record | Useful result |
|---|---|---|
| Exact product | Current title, species/life-stage label, package and item identifier; confirm name-change details. | A precise reference, without treating similarly named formulas as interchangeable. |
| Bag size and order type | Selected weight, first or later purchase, one-time or autodelivery terms. | A comparison that includes return eligibility and cancellation conditions. |
| Delivered cost | Destination, current price, applicable discount, postage and return postage. | A dated cost comparison, with location and assumptions visible. |
Returns and geography change the decision
The current return policy allows one return per customer, limited to unused food from a first 4 lb, 8 lb or 10 lb order. It states 30 days without defining the starting event. Discounts and customer-paid return shipping affect the refund. 25 lb bags, treats, supplements, raw mixes, Flavor Enhancer, expired products and international shipments are excluded. Returns are limited to U.S. purchases; a general money-back badge does not remove these conditions.7,2
The policy describes credit to the original payment method within seven business days, without specifying the processing clock's start. That is a customer refund statement, not an affiliate payout schedule.7
The affiliate FAQ suggests broad international shipping, but the current shipping policy says no direct shipping outside the U.S., referring customers to Canadian and Singapore distributors. Distributor purchases have no established affiliate attribution here. Separately, the publisher-country FAQ contradicts itself about non-U.S. websites, so affiliate eligibility remains Unknown.3,8
Shipping policy wording alternates between qualifying orders US$30 and over after discounts and orders over US$30; confirm the exact boundary. Free economy shipping is scoped to the contiguous U.S. Alaska, Hawaii, territories and APO/FPO need separate arrangements and can carry extra costs. The merchant disclaims lost, stolen or misdelivered packages and gives carrier-dispute instructions. Avoid promising delivery or a refund for every shipment.8
Publishing permissions still need confirmation
The FAQ requires a viewable website, makes approval discretionary and allows multiple sites under one account. It mentions supplied creatives and custom text/images, subject to termination. Generic website terms separately restrict copying and proprietary graphics/logos. Obtain the actual affiliate agreement and permitted materials before building around merchant assets; no complete current coupon, PPC, email, social, disclosure or exit policy was established in this review.3,9
Own-purchase commission is advertised, but this is not confirmation of an accepted owner permission or recruitment relationship. Rates can change without notice, and the provider only promises fees for purchases its systems track and report.3
Next step: review the official program and current joining information. Confirm enrollment, your country/channel, the accepted sale base and the two-tier binding before forecasting income.3
