Tennis Express offers an affiliate opportunity through its Shopify Collabs community page, but the public invitation does not publish a commission schedule. Treat the rate, eligible order value and tracking window as Unknown until you have your actual offer.3,4
Our fit assessment: this is a candidate for tennis publishers who can explain a specific racquet or string decision. The merchant documents online demos and string setups; useful content should connect those options to their costs and limits, without inventing a playtest or promising a better game.1,2
What is known about the affiliate offer?
| Question | Current answer |
|---|---|
| Where do you join? | The official community page lists affiliate marketing and links to a Collabs application. The public destination currently shows an email/login shell, not an accepted agreement.3,4 |
| Commission and base | Unknown. Promotional metadata mentions compensation on sales, but supplies no percentage, deductions, category rules or eligible events.3 |
| Cookie and attribution | Unknown. Do not import a window from a different network offer or assume every repeat purchase is credited.3,4 |
| Payment and permissions | Tennis Express’s assigned hold, actual cash calendar, fees, publisher countries and approved traffic/assets remain unconfirmed. General Collabs documentation is not the merchant’s contract.3,5 |
| Recurrence / tier two | Unknown. Customer loyalty points, referral rewards and creator gifts do not establish commissions on qualifying sales by recruited affiliates.3,6 |
Shopify currently says general creator signups are paused, while merchants can still accept applications and send direct invites. That does not establish closure of Tennis Express’s programme or approval of a particular applicant.5
A tracked sale is not immediate cash
This is general Collabs payment guidance, not confirmed Tennis Express settings:5
- Sale tracked
Commission enters a merchant-selected holding period of 1–90 days.
- Hold assessed
Canceled or fully refunded orders lose pending commission; disputes can also occur.
- Merchant pays
After the hold, commission is billed to the merchant; payment must occur before it enters Next payout.
- Payout scheduled
Automatic payouts run twice monthly with at least $25 in Next payout, in USD; currency-conversion fees can apply.
Confirm your actual terms and payout setup before forecasting income. The customer’s return deadline is a separate clock.
Demo, buy unused or buy used?
| Route | Documented conditions | What your content should make clear |
|---|---|---|
| Online demo | Up to three racquets for $24.99 including round-trip shipping; one week from delivery. The set ships together when all are in stock. Return in the original box at a manned FedEx location, not a drop box or another carrier.1 | Check availability and the return deadline before planning a test. |
| New purchase | Ordinary unused-product returns: 30 days from delivery. Racquets/paddles need intact handle plastic; string cost is not refunded on merchant-strung racquets.7 | Playing with a purchased racquet does not preserve an unused return. |
| Used racquet | Purchases of used racquets are final sale. The general policy’s discretionary partial credit for used/worn goods is not a promised exception.7 | Compare the specific condition and final-sale exposure before ordering. |
Demo liability matters: late returns cost $2 per racquet per day; after seven days beyond the due date, the stated charge is full retail price. Removing the barcode label incurs $10. Demo shipping excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO, PO boxes and U.S. territories; gift cards, PayPal and Amazon Pay are not accepted for demo orders.1
For ordinary returns, a free label requires both the original order and retained merchandise to exceed $50 before tax/shipping, with one label per order in the continental U.S. Otherwise the portal label costs $6.95. Original shipping is nonrefundable; final-sale/gift-card and separate manufacturer-return exceptions apply. Store credit expires after 90 days.7
The shipping policy currently limits retail deliveries to the U.S., its territories and military bases. Its limited-time free-shipping offer has stock, weight and product exclusions. Check the actual checkout total; retail shipping coverage is different from demo coverage and affiliate eligibility.8
Worked example: make a racquet comparison useful
Hypothetical publishing plan—no actual order, tester, listing or performance result:
| Step | Record | Useful decision |
|---|---|---|
| Define one question | What does the reader want to change about their current setup? What can stay? | Keeping the current frame is a valid outcome. |
| Separate the variables | Frame generation, grip size, string model/gauge, tension when known, and test date. Mark missing information. | A different string setup can confound a frame comparison; do not attribute every impression to the frame. |
| Plan the exit first | Demo due date, return method, total cost and the purchase’s return classification. | Stop if the deadline, liability or final-sale terms do not work. |
Tennis Express says most demos start at 55 pounds but exceptions exist, and its guide lists alternative strings for several models. Confirm the actual demo setup rather than assume every sample is identical. We have not measured string tension or tested these racquets.2
If you publish a real test later, describe its actual conditions and limits. Avoid unsupported injury-prevention, fitting or athletic-performance claims. For broader participation-equipment coverage, compare DICK’S Sporting Goods, or work through the program-selection lesson.
Next step: inspect your actual offer
Use the official Tennis Express community page. Before promoting, confirm the commission base, eligible products/services—including whether demos qualify—attribution, reversals, payout settings, countries and permission for your intended channels and creative assets. Do not turn an unknown rate into an earnings calculation.

Official material was checked October 21, 2026. The invitation’s sales-compensation wording appears in metadata; the readable body names affiliate marketing. The linked application revealed no public rate schedule. Shopify payment guidance describes the platform, not an accepted Tennis Express contract. The returns page displays “05/07/26”; that date is not treated as today’s update.3,4,5,7
Exact economics, attribution, permissions, complete publisher eligibility, recurrence and downstream credit remain unconfirmed. This profile is researched, not a racquet, demo, delivery, refund, payout or earnings test.
