This is a registry-user lead offer—not a commission on every gift purchased, and not evidence of tier-two rewards for recruiting affiliates. Keep the relationships separate
MyRegistry promotes a universal list, adding gifts from multiple stores and syncing existing store registries. That makes it relevant to a coordination problem, rather than evidence that every retailer or feature is supported. The Terms reserve the ability to change supported retailers, websites and products.1,2,6
The company also says its services are supported by retailer commissions, referral fees, advertising and other arrangements. That describes MyRegistry’s business relationships, not your publisher commission on gift sales. Its retailer software, consumer signup and publisher programme are distinct roles.6,5
How a guest’s gift purchase works
- Open the list
Use the shared registry link and visitor password if enabled.
- Choose the gift
Check the exact item and selected retailer rather than assume the list guarantees stock or price.
- Complete checkout
Follow the retailer link; check price, shipping address, delivery and return terms on that retailer’s site.
- Update the list
After ordering, return to mark the item purchased. Do not assume every external purchase automatically updates the list.
MyRegistry’s buying help describes that retailer redirect and manual purchase-marking step. Prices can change, and the retailer’s own return policy matters. Its shipping help says the guest enters the delivery address during retailer checkout; an address can be viewed on the list if the member has supplied it.3,7

The cash-gift marketing page describes a five-business-day hold before transfer to PayPal. That is a scoped customer-fund statement, not an affiliate payment calendar or a promise about another provider. The Terms call out non-refundable handling fees; their guest-fee description and the different provider scope should be checked against the actual fund before contributing.12,6,9
Avoid presenting the whole experience as universally fee-free or private. The Terms warn that submitted member content can be accessible to others, while the privacy policy describes particular visibility controls. We have not tested those controls or payment processing.6,9

Start with the official MyRegistry Awin programme. Confirm the eligible new-user event, validation, assigned reward/currency, attribution, cash and approved properties, channels and countries. An accessible international registry page is not a publisher-country whitelist.
